Most Regular and Super 8mm film is run at 18 frames per second. We speed it up a little to 20 frames per second to eliminate flicker. When essential, we can capture frame-by-frame and create an 18 frame per second file. Some is run at 16 FPS, and in order to get the right speed we must use frame-by-frame capture for your project. Most 16mm and all sound 16mm film is imaged at 24 FPS
